Beginner Class:
This is a basic obedience course that runs for 6 weeks. During the classes you will learn various commands such as “sit”, “heel”, “down”, “wait”, “stay”, “up”, “over”, “stand”, and “here/come”. You will be taught to observe your dog so that you can recognize signs of stress and aggression and how to work through them. You are taught how to communicate with your dog using various techniques. The course costs $160.00 and classes run each Monday from 7:00pm until approximately 8-8:30pm or Saturdays from 1 to 2-2:30pm. New course start dates are posted regularly on the home page.

Intermediate Class:
This class continues with the lessons learned in the beginner class and introduces the handler and dog to new obstacles and stress. The handler and dog work with the basic knowledge and build upon that to develop more control and communication. Agility is introduced at this level as well as stability around other dogs and people.
For those interested, scent work is introduced at this level as well. These classes cost $25.00 per session and run on Tuesday nights from 7:00pm to approximately 8-8:30pm or Saturday afternoons from 2:30pm-3:30pm. The classes are pay as you go and you do not need to sign up for a specific period of time. Any aggression or socialization issues can be dealt with at this level.

Advanced Class:
This class incorporates all the the knowledge taught in the first two courses focuses on reinforcing the bond between the dog and handler. The handler performs with the dog, working through different levels of stress which reinforces the stability and confidence level of both handler and K9. You are taught to identify subtle movements and gestures of the dog when he/she is under stress and how to assess those cues as indications or possible issues. Classes are never the same and are always exciting. Costs for the advanced class is $25.00 per session and is held on Wednesday nights from 7:00pm to 8:30pm.

Tracking Class:
Man tracking classes are held on Sundays @ 7:30 pm. Everyone is welcome from very experienced dogs and handlers to those with no experience but wanting to learn. Please dress for the weather as you never know where or what terrain we will be tracking through.

Private Class:
In addition to the above classes, we offer private sessions for the cost of $45.00 per class. Classes can be arranged to meet your schedule. Our dogs and our staff’s dogs are available during these classes to work on everything from the basics to stability, stress and aggression issues. Classes held off site are subject to an additional charge depending on location.

Hunt/Retrieving/Trial Dog Training:
This class is for any dog of any age or breed and any handler interested in either using their dog for hunting/retrieving or even as a competitive trial dog. We highly recommend completing the basic obedience course that we offer so that a level of communication already exists and the basic commands are in place.
