HUNT/TRIAL
Essex County K9 Services will now be offering hunt/retrieving/trial dog training for anyone interested- all breeds/ages are welcome. We are privileged to bring on a trainer with a vast knowledge in this field.
This class is held on Saturday afternoons at 4pm. Cost for this 8 week course is $220.00 including tax. Next course start date is April 2, 2011. If interested in registering or for more information, please contact us at 519-791-6203.
Wayne Dibbley grew up fishing and hunting in small town Wheatley, Ontario Canada, where an addiction for waterfowl calling, waterfowling and the required retrievers was born.
In his late teens Wayne volunteered for the Leamington Animal Hospital and Dr. McDowell - there becoming hooked on behavior rather than medicine. A journey to learn more about behavior modification, and dog training paralelled his appreciation for top level performing gun dogs and retrievers and the work it takes to train them.
Today as a PRTA Pro member, and Professional Member of CAPPDT, Wayne provides Basics for hunting retrievers, hunt test retrievers and field trial hopefuls.
